You should take the day off and do whatever it is that you need to do. You need to make sure that you take care of yourself every now and then. It's okay to call off work or place one day aside for just you. Make sure that the kids are at school and that your mate is off to work. All you need is one day of hassle free time. When you take the time, you should not think about yourself as a mother or a wife, a student, or anything. You should just care about yourself for one day.
That is one way of getting in touch with life. Anther way is to keep yourself in the scene. You should expose yourself to new and interesting things. Every weekend you should do something that is unique. You can go to the ballot, an art show, a concert, anything that is creative. When you go you need to be open minded about it, allow yourself to be inspired. If you can, try to take it all in, and then put a journal together and make sure that you write down everything that you felt at that moment. Then in a day or two review your thoughts and the inspiration from the journal will make your creativity flow. You have no idea how much you are affected every day by the media and the things that you see. Everything that we watch, listen to effects creativity. Allow yourself to be inspirited by the art or the performance.
